Coach Murray, then the assistant to the principal, witnessed an argument involving the principal, front desk staff, and superintendents. The very next day, the principal was gone, her picture removed from the door, a sudden and unexpected departure. This left Coach Murray essentially running the school, though under the supervision of individuals who were not believers. This chaotic turn of events, coupled with the prior spiritual signs, intensified the divine imperative.

The spiritual pressure mounted, and the message from God became even more urgent. He recalls, "God was like, leave now." The path was no longer about patiently waiting for ideal conditions; it was about immediate obedience, despite the lingering questions and the sudden upheaval at his workplace.

He told Coach Murray, "you showed up in my dream."

Coach Murray, who had a background in singing and preaching, readily accepted. That same day, he met the new church's pastor. The pastor shared a previous negative experience with a worship leader. Coach Murray reassured him, explaining his preparedness, stating, "I have stands, I have everything." He was given the opportunity to start that very Wednesday, quickly assembling songs and bringing in his drummer to lead worship.
